The Team
Our ever growing team started with me, Ryan. I’m in the process of recruiting a team to join me in this exciting project. So far, Cat has joined as Restaurant Manager. She is super friendly and the best ever gig Cat has been to was for Limp Bizkit, just please don’t bring any bugs to the restaurant as this will definitely scare her off! Maisie used to compete nationally in several sports… let’s just say she has butterflied, bounced and backstroked her way to Restaurant Supervisor at No.14. And Peter comes with years of experience as a classic chef, with a focus on quality cooking with great ingredients.
We are creating an inclusive team, where everyone matters and everyone makes a difference, with our focus being great hospitality, going above and beyond our guests expectations. Check out the careers page for more info.
The vibe
Think comfortable seating, table service and smiles all round. The space has been designed to be comfortable, light and airy, making the most of its big arched windows. We will have work stations with high speed wifi for working from, and plugs for devices.
The food and drinks menus will feature local produce, and dishes made with care and attention. If you’re a local supplier, grower, wine maker, etc, do get in touch, we’d love to meet you.
Me, Ryan
My background is in 5-star hotels, but most recently I ran a pub in Fulbrook with two good friends of mine. I believe that great hospitality is a rarity these days but it should be at the heart of any service led business. I hope to run a café & restaurant that puts the guest experience as the forefront of what we do, great food, great drinks, and great service. This is my first solo business venture, so come and say hi.
The Environment
Our planet is burning and we all need to do our bit, no matter how big or how small. But I don’t believe that working with the environment should affect the quality of the guests experience. Where possible, we will use low carbon products, non single use plastics, locally sourced produce, renewable energy and more, to lower the restaurants impact on the planet.
